Memories Timeline

  1. Dear The Peterson, Hammond and Ferguson families’ friendship goes back for many generations so I was sad to learn of Ruth’s death. I have memories of visiting with her on her return trips from Africa and have gifts that she brought back to Grandpa and Gramdna Ferguson from her mission work in Africa. As a child, I loved to hear her stories of her work and especially Africa —- I want to go there someday. I extend to all of you my love and deepest sympathies. Jean

  2. Ruth’s family — What a lovely person she was, so warm and caring. I soo enjoyed her visits to the Waverly Public Library. Ruth always keep track of my children and she was such a reader. I will sincerely miss her.

  3. Ruth was a wonderful friend of the Drake Family. She was also a missionary in Africa with incredible stories of God’s protection there. She is home in heaven for Easter, how fantastic that is! Love, Peggy Drake
