Patricia Lockwood

Patricia Lockwood age 87 of Charles City, IA, died Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11th Street Chautaugua Guest Home in Charles City. A celebration of life will be held June 11, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Bridge Church in Charles City. Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton have been entrusted with Patricia's arrangements. 641-394-4334 Patricia was born April 28, 1935 to Robert and Charlotte (Goodale) Golly. She was the first of four children. Patricia attended country school in Cowell before graduating from Colwell High School in 1953. On Main Street in Charles City on April 18 she met the love of her life, Robert Lockwood. The couple were married July 14, 1953 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, to this union three children were born. Patricia worked at JC Penny, Pamida and other retail stores in the area. She also worked All States Quality food in her later years. She loved gardening, cooking and baking. Patricia always enjoyed tending to her flowers. Family was always her number one passion, she will be remembered for always putting her family first. She is survived by her husband Robert Lockwood of Charles City, IA; three children, Debra (Barry) Fites of Plymouth, IA, David (Kelly) Lockwood of Mason City, IA, Diane Titus of Charles City, IA; four grandchildren; Tina (Robert) Ebrecht of Webster City, IA, Fred (Carmen) Heidick of Mason City, Matthew Manos of Coggon, IA, Michelle (Cory) Overbeck of Mason City, IA; five great-grandchildren, Phillip Ebrecht, Larae Ebrecht, Morgan Heidick, Jayden Manos, Colton Overbeck; two brothers, Harold (Priscilla) Golly of Austin, MN, Ken (Cathy) Golly of Charles City, IA; one brother-in-law, Bill Hundt of Charles City, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-granddaughter; Amaya Overbeck; one sister, Linda Hundt.
