Donna Lee Bohach age 77 of New Hampton died Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Accura Healthcare of New Hampton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton with Rev. Chris Podhajsky celebrating the Mass.

Friends may greet the family 9:30 – 11a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at the church.

Donna was born on September 24, 1948, in New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel (Tierney) Meyer. She grew up alongside her siblings, Gladys McGrane, Duane Meyer, Lois Pitz, and Allan Meyer.

Donna was united in marriage to Rodney Bohach at St. Joseph’s Church in New Hampton on July 29. The couple first made their home in Lake Mills, Iowa, before later divorcing. To this union, their son Kevin Bohach was born.

Donna worked at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She was a very devoted woman of faith who cherished her family deeply. Family meant everything to Donna, and she never gave up on anyone she loved. She had a generous heart, was always giving to others, and never forgot a birthday or important event. Donna enjoyed crossword puzzles and dancing and will be remembered for her caring spirit and the love she shared with those around her.

Donna is survived by her son, Kevin Bohach; her brothers, Duane Meyer and Allan Meyer; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Hazel Meyer, and her sisters, Gladys McGrane and Lois Pitz.

Donna’s kindness, faith, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
