Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To Aunt Vera, Cousins Leroy and Janice and Bruce’s lovely family Kathy, Scott, Corey and families… We haven’t seen each other for years since I moved away in the mid 70s to live in Kansas, Colorado and now south Florida. You probably don’t even remember me…but please know I remember you well (especially on the farm when we would come for a visit). I am so sorry for you loss and know what a hole this will leave in your lives. It seems we have had too much death in our family the past couple of years, and I hope it will be over for a while now. I am praying for you and your families and know you will all come together to comfort each other in this awful time. Love, Vicki

  2. Scott, Michelle and family. We are thinking of you today. Hugs and kisses to Noah, Megan and Eli. Take care of each other. Love Kim, Mark, Zach and Alissa

  3. Dear Kathy, I was so shocked to read of Bruce’s death in the newspaper. It only seems like yesterday that all of us were in high school together. My heart goes out to you and your family. May the Lord wrap His arms around you at this difficult time. Take care.

  5. Kathy and family – I was so sorry to read about Bruce’s death, and I want to offer my sympathy to you. I only met him a couple of times during the years that you were the DON at Bartels, but he was a pleasant and friendly fellow to be around. I retired from Bartels last summer and we moved to eastern Wisconsin, near Appleton and Green Bay to be near one of our sons and his family. I check the Waterloo Courier website every day to keep up with what’s happening in northeast Iowa. I pray that God’s peace and strength will surround you and comfort you in the days ahead. Pastor Keith
