I have many fond memories of Bill and his family. When we lived across the street I remember staying at your house for a while when my grandpa Tierney passed away. Then again when we lived a couple houses away. Connie really meant a lot to my parents especially my dad. Praying and thinking for your entire family.
Uncle Bill was truly one of a kind. My siblings and i grew up with uncle Bill as he worked with our family at Nhts. I can still hear his voice over the radio ‘how bout you Chip?’ As he would call for my dad each morning. Us kids would listen to what he’d say next as we always knew it would be the weather update for the day… it told us how to dress for school. And as we’d walk to the end of our drive each morning to catch the bus for school he’d say good morning and talk about the Hawkeyes And tell us to have a good day. A kind, loving, gentle soul who brought so much greatness into this world… he will be greatly missed. Sending our love and deepest sympathies. Heaven must be shining a lot brighter this morning as they welcomed a great man home. Rest peacefully uncle Bill. We will miss you.
Our very deepest sympathy to the entire Weigel family. Words can’t even express what an awesome man he was. May God wrap his loving arms around all of you at this very hard time. God bless.
