William “Bill” Joseph Eischeid, age 54 of New Hampton, Iowa died Wednesday, April 28, 2009, at his home from an apparent heart attack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Holy Family Parish-St. Mary’s Center, New Hampton with Msgr. Carl Schmitt celebrating the Mass. The pall will be placed on the casket by Jeff and Ben Welter and the offertory gifts will be presented by Virgil and Mary Hilsman.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery with Virgil Hilsman, John Wanderscheid, Jim Forkenbrock, Mike Welter, Brian Monserud and Nick Monserud as pallbearers.
Friends may call 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in New Hampton where there will be a 4:00 p.m. rosary and a 6:30 p.m. scripture service. Visitation continues 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
William “Bill” Joseph Eischeid, was born February 14, 1955, in New Hampton, Iowa the son of Ralph and Rosella (Gebel) Eischeid. He attended the former St. Mary’s Grad School in New Hampton and was a graduate of the New Hampton High School in 1973. Shortly after high school he began working at Sara Lee in New Hampton until its closing. He then became employed by the Donaldson Company in Cresco where he worked until the time of his death. Bill became interested in baking and cooking while working at Sara Lee and did all the cooking at home. In his free time he enjoyed just taking off and traveling in his car or truck.
Survivors include his mother, Rosella Eischeid; one brother, Bob Eischeid all of New Hampton; an aunt, Rita (Bob) Welter of Cedar Falls; an uncle, Virgil Gebel of Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his father.
I was sad to hear of the news about Bill he will be missed by all you have my deepest sympathy. God bless from my family to yours.

It doesn’t feel like Bill has left us, and is in heaven with God watching! Their isn’t words to say how one feels in what happen to Bill, everthing want so very fast it’s on believe able to know Bill went in his sleep to be in heaven with his Dad!
