Traci Hirsch, age 47, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, within her own wishes.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in Fredericksburg has been entrusted with services.
Traci was born on March 18, 1974, in New Hampton, Iowa, and grew up in Fredericksburg, Iowa where she graduated from Fredericksburg High School.
Traci enjoyed the simple things in life, being outdoors, fishing, riding on the back of a Harley, and cooking and baking, which was her specialty. But her biggest joy in life was to be with her six children, and that joy grew even bigger this year when she was blessed with two grandsons, Weston and Ryker. Her love for her kids and grandkids was strong and they had always been her reason to keep going.
Traci is survived by her children, Nicole Steege, Blake Steege, McKenzie Steege, Jessica Hirsch, Cloe Hirsch, and Colton Hirsch. Her grandsons, Weston Steege and Ryker Thibadeau. And her parents, Larry and Mary Franzen.
