Todd D. Huegel, age 41 of Palm Beach Garden, FL, died on Monday, September 28, 2009 at his home in Florida. Todd Daniel Huegel was born on April 8, 1968 to Daniel and Joanne (Fitzgerald) Huegel in New Hampton, IA. Todd and his family moved to Rice Lake, WI in 1969. He attended St. Josephs School in Rice Lake, WI and graduated from Rice Lake High School. He was united in marriage to Karen Haschke on October 24, 1998 in Port St. Lucie, FL. Todd was self-employed as a certified personal trainer and nutrition consultant at Jupiter Fitness in Jupiter, FL. Todd enjoyed helping people lose weight, get physically fit, and accomplishing their goals for their health. He loved the outdoors of Florida. Todd is survived by his wife Karen Huegel of Palm Beach Garden, FL; son Danny Huegel of Cocoa Beach, FL; his mother Joanne Huegel of Rochester, MN; one sister Jody (Eric) Rodine of Prior Lake, MN; two nephews Tate and Ty Rodine; one niece Jack Rodine all of Prior Lake, MN; several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Daniel; paternal grandparents Leo and Ellen Huegel, and maternal grandparents James and Mabel Fitzgerald. Cemetery: Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Alta Vista. Visitation: Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Alta Vista, IA. Service: A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Alta Vista, IA with Fr. Ray Atwood celebrating the mass.

  3. I am sorry to hear of Todds passing. My dad and his dad were good friends. I remember playing football in his yard when we were young while our dads worked together and he was a friend in high school as well. God bless your family.

  5. Im a high school friend of Todd and we road the same late bus home every night. He was very kind, genuine and funny. Its very sad news and I send my thoughts and prayers to him and his entire family.

  9. Todd was my best friend since first grade at St. Joes School in Rice Lake. He will be missed. I am glad to have many fond memories with him.
