Tim Jon Wurzer was born on January 4, 1962 to Edgar and Elizabeth "Betty" (Kleve) Wurzer in New Hampton, Iowa. Tim's journey into the world of agriculture began during his time at Fredericksburg High School, where he graduated in 1980. It was during those formative years that he first got his hands dirty, tilling the soil and nurturing a love for the land that would define his life. During a brief stint working at Beatrice Cheese in Fredericksburg, Tim crossed paths with Lori Becker, and their connection blossomed into a loving partnership. Together, they welcomed their beloved son, Adam, into the world. Tim's devotion to Adam was unwavering, and he always looked out for his well-being with a father's protective care. While farming was Tim's true calling, he had other passions that added depth to his life. He had an avid interest in firearms and enjoyed collecting guns, often indulging in hunting trips or spending time at the shooting range. Tim also had a soft spot for diecast tractors and cherished the thrill of attending auctions to add to his collection. Tim was renowned for his unparalleled work ethic, known far and wide as one of the hardest workers in the community. His dedication to his farm and the land he tended was unwavering, serving as an inspiration to all who knew him. Despite his tireless efforts, he also knew how to enjoy life's simpler pleasures, occasionally unwinding with friends over a few beers. Tim is survived by one son Adam Wurzer of New Hampton; three daughters, Megan (Nick) Entwisle of Fredeicksburg, Kim (Pat) Hoffman of New Hampton, Becca (Scott) Valvoda Elma; two brothers, Dale (Linda) Wurzer, Randy (friend Mary Egli) Wurzer; four sisters, Phyllis Elsbernd, Sandy (Lee) Cosselman, Karen Wurzer, Lori (George) Kohlmeyer; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Betty (Kleve) Wurzer; two brothers, Gary and Terry Wurzer; one brother-in-law, Ron Elsbernd.
