Thomas “Tom” Gerald Tierney age 84 of New Hampton, IA, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus in Rochester, MN.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Holy Family Parish, New Hampton, with Rev. Chris Podhajsky celebrating the Mass. Inurnment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, New Hampton.

Friends are invited to greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2026, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton, where there will be a 4:00 p.m. Rosary and a 6:30 p.m. Scripture Service. Visitation continues one hour before the Memorial Mass at the church on Tuesday.

  2. Judy and family. You have my sincere sympathy in the passing of your husband and father to your family. Tom was a great character his humor could lighten a. serious event. He was generous with his time and garden produce. Toms mannerisms were gentleman like wether it was an adult or a youngster. he was well liked and will be missed. God Bless.
