  1. To the entire Folkers family….you’re in my thoughts and prayers. I spent many an hour with Moose while working for Chickasaw County. We had numerous laughs and good times!! Rest in peace Moose!!!

  2. Pat ,Paulette,& Jim & extended families, We are so sorry for your loss of Tommy, He was a special person well loved by all. 3. Laughter and a sunny spirit. That’s what I remember most about Tommy. Every Fall from 1960 to 1969 I’d see Tommy’s smiling face on the first day of school. He wasn’t a ‘close’ friend but he made an impact. I was always glad he was there. It’s been over 40 years since I moved away but a couple years back, I rode my motorcycle to New Hampton for the Rally. I heard Tommy was having health issues and I stopped to say hello. The smile was still there. He was a very good guy. Heaven is a little happier place today.

  4. Jim, Pat, Val and families, so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom will now be at peace. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Sorry that we won’t be able to make the visitation Don has a late appointment in Rochester. God Bless you all.

  5. So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Skeeter and I always enjoyed having him around. You willl miss him, but time heals.

  6. Paulette, Jim and Pat, Mom called me with the news this morning. I was thinking about Tom Sunday when my granddaughters and I were unpacking Christmas decorations and one of them found a Moose(reindeer). Moose came to mind. I was lucky enough to see him seven years ago when I was visiting my grandmother at the home before she died. We talked every day for a week and he was still the one that got all of the personality in our family. The times I spent with him growing up when I visited New Hampton are indelibly etched in my memory. We always got out of the trouble the two of us would get into, and it was usually his smile and fast talking that did the trick. Distance makes all things look better than they are and perhaps the passage of time has taken the sharp edges off the memories. I don’t think so, though. He always had time for his country cousin when we were growing up. He taught me about boundaries–that they were meant to be pushed, explored, and sometimes ignored. Please send me an email address or facebook page–I have something for you to read. You’re all in my thoughts. Let the Moose know I’m thinking about him.

  7. Sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Moose was a good friend and a coworker but a friend 1st.. The good times of Moose being a Santa to my girls or Moose riding his motorcycle over with a Halloween mask on or just stoppng over to let us take his bike for a ride only if it was around the block. We all enjoyed Moose hanging out at Christmas or Thanksgiving with our family. The good times will always be remembered and he will be missed. Two wheels move the soul. Ride on Moose. RIP
