Thomas Buhrow
March 15, 1955 ~ October 24, 2009
Thomas Lee Buhrow, age 54 of Fredericksburg, Iowa died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at his home.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
Private family interment will be held follwing cremation at a later date.
Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fredericksburg.
Thomas was born March 15, 1955, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Alfred “Fritz” and Marjorie (Morgan) Buhrow. He attended school in Denver graduating from the Denver High School in 1974. Thomas always enjoyed farming, having worked on many during his life. He also enjoyed motorcycles and fishing.
Survivors include his companion, Grace Lauer of Fredericksburg; six children, Anita and Charlie Brown, Dawn Cole, John Cole, Dorothy Coonrad and Nate Meyer; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; one sister, Sandy Buhrow of Washington, IA; one brother, Steve (Dawne) of Colo, IA; two nieces, Sara (Thomas) Burg, Naomi (Gary) Backous; one nephew, Luke (Trish) Buhrow.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Tom as he was a friend to me when I was very young. He was a gentle giant and a very kind person. We had lots and lots of good times together back in Denver cruising the gravel roads. God has taken him to a better place. My prayers are with you all today!

Steve and Sandy ….. Brad and I are thinking of you and your extended family…Tom..or ‘Burhows’ is how he was always addressed, and seems whenever you said ‘Burhows’ there was a ‘Hawker’ in that same sentence back in the day……Tom will be remembered by us as a kind gentle man. You have our Blessings.
