Terry Stufflebeam

Terry Wayne Stufflebeam age 71 of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of New Hampton, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Terry Stufflebeam, son of Leslie and Phyllis (Morris) Stufflebeam was born December 4, 1949, in Sumner Iowa. He graduated Sumner High School in 1968 and got a degree in auto mechanics from Hawkeye Tech. Terry was an entrepreneur and did most of his work in construction and the hospitality industry. He “retired” a couple of years ago, but was still working up until the time of his death. He loved working with his hands and recently enjoyed restoring a corvette. He never missed a morning with the coffee club where they discussed the world’s problems and solved none of them. Terry is survived by his wife Carolee Stufflebeam; sister Tammy (Les) Rahlf; children Mike (Jill) Stufflebeam, Wendy Bertram, Brad Holschlag, Craig (Jodi) Holschlag and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tim Stufflebeam and step-son Ryan Holschlag.
