Sonja Henkle

Sonja Jean Henkle, age 71 of Ames, Iowa, formerly of Nashua, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Israel Family Hospice Home in Ames. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at the Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua. There will be no public visitation. Norma Jean Henkle was born April 10, 1938, in California the daughter of Lee A. and Norah Boeck. She received her education in Nashua and was a graduate of the Nashua High School. She married Charles J. Henkle and the couple later divorced. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Henkle of Des Moines; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
