Ruth Endsley

Ruth Evelyn Sing Endsley, age 73, from Knoxville TN, passed away on June 2, 2022, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health in Osage, Iowa. A memorial service will be set for a later date in Tennessee. Local arrangements are entrusted with Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton. 641-394-4334. Ruth graduated from Carter High School in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee in 1967. In 1970 she joined the Women's Army Corps and served her country until 1976. She was always very proud of her service. Ruth was sassy and stubborn and she liked to joke around and make people laugh. She was very artistic and liked to paint, crochet, and embroidery. She also loved doing crossword puzzles. Ruth's greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed spending time with them. Ruth is survived by her son, Jim (Donna) Campbell; daughters, Denise (Allen Feldt) Moore and Jolene (Drew) Newman; grandchildren, John Ellis, Amanda (Ben Augustine) Hockens, and Harvey Newman; brother, James (Betty) Sing; sister Betty Line; and many more extended family and friends she cherished. She was preceded in death by many that she loved and who loved her too.
