Ruby Galing

Ruby Grace Galing, age 76 of Alta Vista, IA passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton. Ruby Grace was born on March 31, 1938 to Roy and Grace Simons of Elma. She attended and graduated from school in Elma. On May 5, 1958 Ruby was united in marriage to Henry W. Galing. Following their marriage, the couple moved to a farm in Alta Vista. Ruby is survived by two daughters, Catherine Galing of Alta Vista, and Joann (Steve) Schuety of St. Olaf, IA; two sons, David (Sharon) Galing of Center Point, IA and Dale Galing of Alta Vista; her grandchildren, Austin and Autumn Rose Schuety and and one sister, Carol (Marv) Zobel of Manley, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry in 2011; her son, Willard; daughter, Theresa and; her brother, William (Bill).
