Rosalee was born on Dec. 19, 1942, to Glen and Janis (Terrill) Parks in Sheffield, and she and her two siblings grew up in Sheffield and Nashua, where Rosalee was a member of the Nashua High School Class of 1961.
She married David Joseph Shirley on Aug. 4, 1962, and the young couple settled in Georgia, where they had their only child, Rhonda. Rosalee worked as a waitress and then a manager at a variety of food companies over the years, but her No. 1 priority was always her family.
David died at the age of 44, leaving Rosalee as a single mom devoted to her daughter. She eventually remarried, to Daniel Lee Wagner on Feb. 25, 1995, but the couple later divorced.
Rosalee loved to read anything and everything but especially romance novels and Wild West stories, and her embroidery skills were nothing short of amazing. But her No. 1 hobby was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great grandchild. A day with them was the absolute best for Rosalee.
She and her daughter moved to Nashua in 2018 to be closer to Rosalee’s mother, Janis Ort, and they had many good times together before Janis passed away earlier this summer at the age of 99.
Rosalee had the funniest laugh and the brightest smile, and she always lit up every room she entered, and all those who had the good fortune of knowing her will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Liboy of Nashua; four grandchildren, Daniel L. Cornett, Carl DJ Cornett, Richard James Robinson III, and Miranda Lynn Robinson; one step-grandchild, Rifael E. Liboy; six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Katelynn, Kaylee, Aubree, Vera and Journey-Rose; one great-great grandchild, Daycen; and one brother, Rod Parks of Nashua.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Merlin Parks.
