Our sincerest sympathy to each of Roland’s family. Roland was one of the most popular employees at Mercy New Hampton in the 18 years he worked here; his presence was a gift to our staff, patients and volunteers. He unselfishly shared a smile and a friendly comment daily with whoever he saw throughout the hospital. He will be greatly missed! His role as Honorary Cancer Survivor will always be a highlight for many survivors ~ he was a hero to all who knew him! Our hearts go out to you as you grieve the loss of one so dear. God Bless You all, Francie & Steve Crawfod

We are so sorry for your loss. Roland ALWAYS donated his time washing dishes at St. Michael’s Food Stand at the Big 4 Fair over Labor Day Weekend. He took this job very seriously & worked continuously during his shift not allowing anyone to replace him. He also donated many fresh vegetables from his garden to the fairstand.
