Ralph Roy Beck

Ralph Roy Beck, age 91 of New Hampton, Iowa died Sunday, November 30, 2025 at New Hampton Nursing & Rehab.

A graveside service will take place 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the New Hampton City Cemetery.  A memorial service will be taking place Friday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton with Pastor Dan Christensen officiating.  Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church.

Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton has been entrusted with arrangements.

Ralph was baptized in 1941 and confirmed June 28, 1948 at St. Paul’s Lutheran in New Hampton.  He graduated in 1952 from New Hampton.  He received the Iowa Farmer Degree in FFA.  After school he helped neighbors with farm work.  

Ralph did custom baling for 40 years.  He substituted for hauling canned milk and measured land for the FSA farm program.  He was also on the county and township committees for FSA.  He drove the Chickasaw Chasse for 10 years.  He had fun square dancing for 10 years.

He married Norma Jean Konick August 22, 1987.

Ralph is survived by his wife Norma Jean Beck and brother-in-law Don Clikeman. Nephews and nieces include Keith (Eileen) Denner, Dean (Lucinda) Denner, Allen (Jan) Denner, Karen (Mark) Borchers, Gary (Lori) Denner, Bret (Wendy) Clikeman, Phil Roe, and April (Scott) Johnson.  

He was preceded in death by his father Roy, mother Louise, sisters Marie Denner and Elna Clikeman and niece Julie (Phil) Roe.
