  12. In my NHS Bulldog years Rachelle was precious to us all as a fellow classmate. Greater warmth and charm were nowhere else to be found. Reflecting upon my most cherished memories of her, we sang and performed together on the same stage many times in our school years. She was a truly great vocalist – one of those go-to voices the director could always depend on to sing ‘that special part’. When Rachelle sang solo you could scan the crowd and see every eye was upon her. She was radiant to the eye and the ear, every performance a special moment unto itself. It is no exaggeration to say, she was a star, and she lived an exemplary life…

    to take what’s there
    enjoy it to the fullest
    share it with others
    celebrate goodness
    take losses in stride
    and keep carrying on

Rest in peace dear lady E.T. 1977
