Mikala Rebeka Titus was born December 18, 1995, in Rochester, MN, the daughter of Deanna Titus. She grew up in the Elma area and attended Elma Elementary School until the sixth grade when she transferred to the Cresco School District. In 2018 she received her G.E.D. from NIACC in Mason City.
Mikala was a very vibrant young lady. You could often catch her making a funny face or doing something silly to make you laugh. Fun, loving and caring are the perfect words to describe her personality. She enjoyed going to the Elma Manor Nursing Home to play cards with the residents, which included her grandma, Muriel Reetz. Mikala also loved animals, music, and Harley Davidsons. Riding with her aunt, uncle and cousin were some of her favorite memories.
Mikala is survived by her mother, Deanna Titus of Charles City, IA; maternal grandmother, Muriel Reetz of Elma, IA; two uncles, Mike (Jodi) Reetz of Charles City, IA and Stacy (Jen) Reetz of Appleton, WI; two aunts, LeAnn (Dave) Durnan of New Hampton, IA and Lauri Reetz of Floyd, IA; many cousins; two fur babies, Muffin and Peanut.
She was preceded in death by one uncle, Brad Reetz; maternal grandfather, Carlton "Sonny" Reetz Jr.

She was very good at trying to help my son Dylan Bond with his self esteem issues. She was always there for him. God got another angle that day and I know with her kind heart she will be watching over all of us
