All of the neighborhood kids used to get together in the empty lot on Summer evenings and play hide and seek, Ghost in the graveyard and other childhood games. 7. When I worked at Dairy Treat in high school, he would come in and tell me he had just gotten done baking a pie, and needed some ice cream to go with it. He was such a nice guy, so easy to carry on a conversation with him. Have all the pie and ice cream you desire up in heaven, Mike! RIP!

  10. I used to babysit with Mike when I lived in Nashua right across the road from him. Ann and Bob did a great job raising Mike along with Bobbi and Kent. He had a hard life starting out and had some tough things throughout his lifetime but I’m glad to see some family pictures on here and know he had good times with family recently, I didn’t know he was a grandpa….that makes me happy to know he had some happy times. Mike’s family has my prayers of sympathy for a life lost too soon!! Cindy (Beck) Stover

  12. Our family shares many memories of Mike when he was a young boy. Ann and Bob raised Mike after a tough situation in life. My parents along with Ann and Bob were great friends for years, thus enjoyed many fun times together, creating lots of memories of Mike as a child. My brother Rick and Mike were very close at a young age and still remained friends to this day. Mike, like many others, made some bad choices in life and he paid for his mistakes, but one thing that never changed was the love and dedication he had for his family and friends. He will be missed by many! Rest in peace Mike. You can now be at peace with all of your parents . Verna (LaBarge) Dirksen
