Guestbook

  1. Dear Mahoney family/friends–I was saddened to read in the Courier that my friend Mary had passed away while we were in Houston visiting relatives. I regret that I was unable to see you or pay last respects to Mary who I think of as ‘a prayer warrior’ and somone constantly doing good for others. A few months ago, we were delighted to visit with her at Breitbach Chiropractic Clinic in C.C. Deepest sympathy to you all, though we know Mary now rests in the arms of her Savior where she belongs. — Cathy (and Leonard) Upham, Cedar Falls, IA.

  2. When my son Darel called to tell me about Mary’s funeral, I could not believe that my dear friend was gone from this world. In June, my grandson Seth took me to visit Mary. She proudly showed me the beautiful quilt that she had made from her wedding dress that she wore when she married Jim. My son took a picture of both of us holding the quilt for the camera. I feel sad that I never mailed that picture to Mary. In the mid -sixtiies into the mid-seventies my family lived near Mary’s family. Mary was a dear friend always ready to lend a helping hand. I have many memories of Mary. Together we made raised doughnuts dripping with icing. We often visited back and forth. I wish blessings and good wishes to her eleven children and their families. With sympathy, Marilyn Reicks

  3. My heart goes out to the familiy. I enjoyed many good times with your parents and family growing up. I miss them both! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Gary

  5. To the entire Mahoney family: Our sincere sympathy at this sad time in your life. Your mother raised a strong family and with each others support may you all feel her love. Keeping you in our prayers, Denny and Mary B.

  6. Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. This is one of the most difficult things we must face in our life. May it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. God assures us at Psalms 34:18 that he is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. Jesus also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. Jesus own words found at John 5:28,29 tells us there will be a resurrection. What a wonderful hope! God says that soon on the earth there will be no more pain, suffering and especially death at Revelation 21:3-5 We anxiously await the day when we will no longer lose those we love. May these bible thoughts bring you comfort at this most difficult time

  7. To Kathleen and family, Very sorry for your loss. I am sure that, judging from her daughter, she was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. May god be with you in your time of grief. May the road rise up to meet you and the wind always be at your backs. Sincerely, Michael Haffey
