Mary Ann loved to travel and brought back wonderful stories of her trips to Europe with her close friends and family. She also traveled within the US, meeting with her friends regularly, and often made the trip back to Iowa to be present for family birthdays and holidays and spending winters in Florida. When at home, she found joy in her flowers.

Her home was always welcoming and she delighted in making everything special for her visitors. Whether it was baking her famous chocolate chip  or sugar cookies or selecting the perfect gift from QVC, Mary Ann had a unique way of making everyone feel cherished and valued.

  6. What can you say about a friend that shared so much of your life over the past 30 years. My heart is breaking. We spent our sundays together as we were both single and filled them by going to movies, shopping at Home goods and going to lunch at Olive Garden ( our favorite). We were both great QVC shoppers and I would always call her for advise on what she thinks would look good on me. I already miss her advise on so many things. She was also a huge part of my own family and spent many trips with my my sister in law , my son, and even my nephew . We did trips to Europe many times, a Norway cruise, and even a trip to visit my son in Oklahoma at the naval base and his new home. All such sweet memories now that I looked back on am grateful that god gave me such a wonderful friend.

  7. Deepest condolences to the family! Mary Ann was an outstanding employee when she worked for me. She was always a joy to be around, her smile and warm personality made the world a better place. Rest in peace my dear friend.

  8. Mary Ann was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. She meant the world to my mother and me, and her friendship was a constant source of comfort and strength. No matter where the Navy sent me, she always found a way to support me and visit, reminding me of home even when I was far away. She was my mom’s dearest friend, and the impact she made on both of our lives will never be forgotten.
