Marilyn June Peterson age 89 of Charles City died Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Homes in Charles City.
A family service will be held at a later date.
Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton have been entrusted with Marilyn's arrangements.

From our first day of reorganization, Marilyn was a dedicated member of Gold Canyon, Arizona, United Methodist Women. The attached photo is from our first photo album and was taken of Marilyn in April 2019. On October 2023, at the District Annual Celebration, a memorial service was held to memorialize all the women who had passed to the arms of Jesus this past year. Marilyn’s name was read and a bell rung as a rose was presented to the unit in her memory. What a wonderful Christian women!! We miss her.
