Guestbook

  1. Dear Gerald and girls, Marilyn will be missed greatly! Her many years spent volunteering at the hospital were valued and appreciated! She volunteered with a smile on her face and a lively spirit of volunteerism ~ always giving, giving, giving. “In the time we have, it is surely our duty to do all the good we can to all the people we can in all the ways we can.” This quote fits Marilyn to a “T” and the life she chose to liveto the fullest! May the special memories and wonderful support of all who loved her help you through this painful time. With heartfelt sympathy, Francie Crawford

  2. Its with a heavy heart that I write this message. We are very sad to hear of the passing of Rose. What a wonderful woman she was! 3. Our dear friend, fondly called “Rose”, has sadly left us. Fortunately, the many memories of friendship and fun times will never leave us. I am so honored to be chosen as one of her pall bearers, and yet saddened not to be able to fulfill the role, due to a preplanned vacation to New York City. Yet, of all people, Rose would want us to go ahead with the plans as our entire adult family celebrates “Christmas in July.” The Johnson family will indeed be close to our hearts as we travel. We are grateful for their friendship and for the opportunities to be with Rose during her last days. Thanks for the great memories. Glennda and Wally Murphy

  4. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the girls. Marilyn always had a smile and good things to share with all. The world has definitely lost a fine lady. God Bless.

  18. We just want to let Marilyn’s family know how much we (and other neighbors) enjoyed having Marilyn and Gerald join our neighborhood. We had good times visiting, and eating, and teaching them to play Sequence and Train Dominoes. (Gerald needs more practice.) The funeral service was such a lovely, moving tribute. I’m sure MarilynRose was smiling through it. You all have our deepest sympathy and prayers.

  20. Dear Gerald and Family I am deeply saddened by Marilyns death, the loss of such a special friend and companion will be with you a long time. I remember the times of babysitting the girls, giving them their Sat. night baths and tucking them into bed with such fondness. I always marveled at how such a busy mom like Marilyn had the energy to keep such a beautiful and loving home, always with a smile. I am sorry I was unable to join you for your special day of goodbye. I will stop in when next I am in town to visit my folks.

  21. Gerald Johnson Family, Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you during this time of grief for Marilyn. Our condolences are extended to all. Sincerely Dan Pat Fliger
