Mae Leach

Mae Lucille Leach age 96 of Grand Junction CO, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Mesa View retirement Center in Grand Junction, CO. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Mae Lucille Leach was born December 24, 1915, in Garber, IA, the daughter of Fred and Alma Wathen. On August 31, 1957, she married Rollis Leach in Elkader, IA. Mae was a retired and very dedicated school teacher, having taught in both Iowa and Colorado. Rollis L. Leach died on May 6, 2005, at the age of 88. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Vivian Wenthe of Fredericksburg; three nieces, Diana (Danny) Suplita of Fairmont, WV, Pastor Claudia (Pastor Fred) Tessmer of Deerwood, MN and Linda (Sam) Rosewall of Des Moines; two nephews, Craig (Connie) Wenthe of Fredericksburg and Mark (Terry) Wenthe of Altonna.
