She received her education at a rural country school through grade three, attended St. Mary's Catholic School, and graduated from New Hampton High School with the class of 1964. Born with a bright and inquisitive mind, Madella enjoyed reading throughout her life and was a keen observer of the world around her. Her dry wit, shared with those closest to her, will always bring laughter and joy to their memories. Madella is survived by her loving family, including her brother Bill (Linda) Noehl of New Hampton, her sister Laura (Dale) Schmitz of Charles City, nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jesse) Rusch of Cedar Falls, Nicholas (Leslie) Noehl of New Hampton, Lisa Schmitz of West Des Moines, David (Lori) Schmitz of Dubuque and great nieces and nephews.
