Our deepest sympathies. We have fond memories of Lucille as a teacher and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your families.
Nancy, Vickie, and your families, Just want to express my sympathy! I taught third grade with your mom for nine yrs. What fun we had sharing ideas and conversation. She was an inspiration in her desire to learn new methods and pick the best ideas that would fit her classroom. I remember when your dad received an award in Des Moines–Jan Nelson Junko and I took your mom to the Waterloo airport so she could fly to be by his side–we picked her up in the wee hrs. of the morn. and all three of us were in school in the morning. She was a dear friend and I treasure the memories we shared. God Bless all you you whom she so dearly loved! Jan Moldenhauer Strike
