Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Leroy had a really cool bicycle when we were kids. I think it was a Schwinn Stingray with a tall sissy bar, and a steering wheel. As teenagers, he always liked cruising around town with me in my 1974 Dodge Challenger. He would jump in my car, pop in a tape, and crank the radio volume to maximum before the music started playing. Then when the music started, it’d almost blow us out of the car !! He always knew the words to all the good songs ! Mike Sternat F’burg class of 1981

  2. I remember Leroy from school. He was funny most of the time. I always thought of him as a friend…so sad to hear about him. First time I met him was in 1978. We both lived in the apartments kiddy corner from the school. We lived across from each other. He came out of the apartment and scared me. He would talk whenever we seen each other. Jodie Beck (Ransom). I sure will miss him…

  3. My sister and I would go to Chips in Lawler with my nephew in tow. We couldn’t take him in with us, he was a toddler, but, Leroy (Elroy to us) would volunteer to watch him so we could go in for a little while. Leroy was always like a little brother, one you took advantage of, but, always loved the heck out of. I will never forget you Elroy!

  4. Leroy was one of my classmates. Class of 1982 Fredericksburg. I remember Leroy as always quiet, always nice. We would have interesting conversations about being part of a big family. My deepest condolences to the family. May you all find peace and comfort during this difficult time 🙏 Nancy DeSloover Goldston, Wichita, KS
