Leonard Dunn age 73 of Alta Vista, IA, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 10, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
There will be no formal services at this time.
Leonard is survived by his wife Kathy Dunn of Alta Vista; Sons: Josh (Brittney) Lee of Spirit Lake, Ia and Jesse (Sadie) Lee of Joyce, Ia; Daughters: Jade (Josh) Longley of Kentucky, Holly (Jesse) Webb of Kentucky, Tammi (Gage) Shafer of Alta Vista, Lynette (Adam) Bronson of Kiester, MN, Krista (Garrett) Manwarren of Austin, MN, Ginger (Jeremy) Amosson of Burchinal, IA; Brother Joe (Judy) Dunn of Elma; Sister Kay (Dave) Rasmussen of New Hampton; Many nieces and nephews; Grandchildren: Colton and Carter Longley; Oliver and Felicity Webb; Lane and Luke Shafer; David and Gabe Lee; Jase Spooner; Tara, Kayden, Rylan, and Owen Lee; Allison, Emily, and Sawyer Bronson; Jonathan, Jourdan, Kaitlyn, and Jeremiah; Miles and Hattie Amosson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Agnes (Mahoney) Dunn; Brother Bud; Sister Mary; and grandchildren: Ruby, Landon, and Charlotte Longley; and Garret Joyner.

It’s been too long – but I remember how the car of cousins and Uncle Lenny and Aunt Mary would unfurl on holidays at Uncle Ted’s. I would count to make sure all the beloved cousins were there! It was such a joy filled time to be with you at gatherings.
I’m so sorry to hear of Lenny’s passing and for your loss.
