  1. May he rest in peace. My sympathy to the Straw family. Larry was always pleasant to talk to.

  2. Our deepest sympathies to Tammy, Tracy and extended families. He sure was an inspiration to alot of wrestlers, wrestling families and the wrestling community. Gone but never forgotten…
    REST IN PEACE COACH STRAW💔🖤

  3. My sympathies to all of Larry’s family. He was one of the good guys! The Straw boys are back together again.

  4. I coached and taught with Larry at Mt. Vernon High School in the 60s. He was an excellent teacher, football and wrestling coach, and athletic director. The students liked and respected Larry as did the staff. His wife Lois was the school secretary who was very friendly and very competent. Larry and Lois were close friends of both my wife Lana and myself. We did a lot of socializing with them when we lived in Mt. Vernon. They were fun loving and full of life. Over the years we continued to stay in touch. We miss both of them.
