Kyle Richard McNeil, born on December 26, 1989, in Sylmar, California, and passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 33. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. Kyle's parents, Cynthia Annison and Joseph McNeil, were blessed with his arrival, and his life journey took him from the sun-soaked streets of California to the heartland of Grundy Center, Iowa.
Kyle's early life was marked by a move to Iowa with his father and stepmother when he was around 11 years old. He quickly adapted to his new surroundings and thrived, ultimately graduating from Grundy Center High School. His passion for driving led him to further his education at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, where he obtained his CDL, setting the stage for a career that would merge his love for the road with his strong work ethic.
It was amidst the everyday hustle that fate intervened, leading Kyle to a chance encounter that would change his life forever. At a gas station in an unexpected twist of destiny, he held the door open for a stranger named Billie Jo Beier. Their connection was instantaneous, and as if guided by a higher force, Billie Jo asked for his number. This encounter blossomed into a beautiful love story, and on April 13, 2018, Kyle and Billie Jo exchanged vows at her mother's home in Lawler, IA.
Kyle's journey as a family man began earlier when he met Kimberly Perry in 2012. Their laughter filled their days, and together they welcomed a daughter named Amarah. The family moved to Weslaco, TX, and while their paths later diverged, their bond remained everlasting. Shortly after, Kyle found his way to Waterloo, where he met Billie Jo and began writing a new chapter in his life.
Kyle's vibrant personality and passions were evident to all who knew him. He was an avid car enthusiast, dedicating countless hours to his Ford Ranger, attending car meets, and immersing himself in the world of racing. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, as he tirelessly sought spiritual growth and deepened his relationship with Jesus and God. He read the Bible cover to cover, embodying his dedication to his faith.
Above all, Kyle will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family. His love knew no bounds, and his dedication to providing for his loved ones and being a loving father was an inspiration to all. The tight-knit family he nurtured meant the world to him, and his presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Kyle Richard McNeil's memory lives on in the stories he shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, and the profound impact of a life lived with purpose. As we say goodbye to a beloved son, husband, father, and friend, we hold onto the joy he brought into our lives and find solace in the knowledge that his spirit will forever guide and watch over us.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Billie Jo of Waterloo; four sons, Asher Beier, Castiel Melhorn, Alexavier McNeil, Jonah McNeil; two daughters, Amarah McNeil, Amelia McNeil; his mother, Cynthia Annison of California; mother-in-law, Ava Tucker of Waterloo, IA; two sisters, Chelsea (Elliot) Eggleston of Cedar Falls, Nicole (Tyler) Wilson of Clear Lake, many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Kyle Richard McNeil will forever be in my heart. He is my beloved Nephew who I had the blessings of being closely in his life from birth until 12 years old. After he moved to Iowa and I movedto Michigan I was not able to vist him until he came out at 12 years old to visit me. I last saw him 8 years ago as he was visiting Michigan where I live. He and I exchanged messages via text the last few years. He will be missed so much !!Kyle has always been smart, witty, energetic and special !!!He has reminded me of his father Joe who passed when Kyle was only 12.5 years old ? I have comfort to know that I believe Kyle has been reunited with his father Joe in Heaven- All my Love for you Kyle. I will miss you truly- Love always, Aunt Larah

I never met Kyle, but his stepmother, Linda, who continued to raise him even after his dad passed away, loved him as much as she loved her own children. She had and has nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his family over the years, and I know she loved his children as well. They always had a great relationship from what I knew, and she was an important part of his life, despite not being included in his obituary.
The step mother that raised him. And LOVED going to church with him. Hugs to Linda.
I have very fond memories of Kyle when he lived in California. He was a very delightful, sensitive, and special person/soul. He will be missed. I send my love and prayers to all the family and friends of Kyle. May his soul find peace and happiness in the heavens.

To all of Kyle’s loved ones that are feeling the anguish of loss, I send along my heartfelt condolences. I met Kyle and his loving mother Cynthia some 24 years ago. I will always cherish that day. Kyle’s laughter and commitment to family will never subside in our hearts. A good man with a heart of gold. Knowing that our Heavenly Father cradles Kyle, and his loving family, brings needed comfort. Until we meet again.
