Was saddened to hear of Joann passing. Have many memories of her and Lance working at the Red Fox Inn. She loved joking and pulling pranks! With sympathy.
To Jo’s Family: I was surprised to read the news about Jo. I remember her working at Carver’s in Waverly in the late 60’s and early 70’s. As my mom’s friend, we were around her a lot. She always picked on my brother, Gary, and me. Truth be told, I loved every minute of it! I enjoyed being around her because she always made me smile. Treasure all the good times with her and hold them close to your heart.
Sincere sympathy to all of you from Texas. Jo worked for my father as a waitress at Carver’s Restaurant in the ’60s. She was so much fun to be with and kept all of us smiling. One time I worked my entire lunch shift with a trail of debris hanging from the back of my apron. Jo had clipped it to me without my knowledge and the entire place, customers and employees alike, enjoyed the gag. It’s just an example of the fun spirit she shared with those who knew her. I know there’s a happy spot in heaven today.
Sherri and Jack… So sorry to hear of mom’s passing. Thinking of you. Praying for you and your family.
Aunt Sherri and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. May your heart heal with the memories of the good and let your soul let go of the bad.
