Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Bahlmann, age 73, of Waterloo, IA formerly of Frederika, IA passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Pillars of the Cedar Valley in Waterloo. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton, IA with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will be held at Alcock Cemetery in Frederika, IA. Online condolences may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com. Memorials may be directed to the family. Jeffrey Allan was born September 7, 1948, the son of Stanley and Marian (Treloar) Bahlmann. He attended school in Frederika, Sumner and Tripoli. He proudly accomplished obtaining his GED from Hawkeye Technical College in Waterloo. Jeff spent his life working hard at various janitorial positions in Mason City, IA and Waterloo. In more recent years he devoted his time to Good Will until his retirement. When not at work, Jeff enjoyed fishing, hiking, and going for walks to the Frederika Park. He was an avid sports fan cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He never missed All Star Wrestling or episodes of Days of Our Lives. He was also known to spin around the dance floor of the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo. Jeff cherished time with his family most of all! His memory will be honored and shared by his siblings, Gary (Gayle) Bahlmann of Lansing, IA, Marilyn (Vern) Bockhaus of Ionia, IA, Dennis Bahlmann of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Judy Houston of St. Louis, MO, Debbie Reding of Waterloo, IA, and Marty Bahlmann of Cedar Falls, IA; his aunts and uncles, LaDonna Lampe of Waverly, IA, Judy Treloar of Waucoma, IA, and Don (Mary) Treloar of Hawkeye, IA; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Stanley and Marian; his brother-in-law, Denny Reding; his grandparents; uncles, Jack, George and Clayton Treloar, Virgil (Wilma) Bahlmann and Kenny Lampe and aunts, Joyce Ellicson, Beth Wireman Catherine Flaig, Iola Buccholz, Ruth Rosol, Eldora (George) Hagen and Maxine (Roy) Volker.
