Jason M. Koskie age 42 of Nashua, IA, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at his home. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Friends may greet the family 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home - Olson Chapel in Nashua. Jason Mark Koskie was born February 12, 1975, in New Hampton, IA, the son of Dwight and Sylvia (Brusenbauch) Koskie. Jason attended school in Nashua and was a 1993 graduate of Nashua High School. He then attended Hawkeye Community College where he earned a degree in Blueprint Making. Jason started working for B & D Grocery in Nashua working in the meat department for several years. Jason married Samantha Huxsol on February 28, 2004. Jason worked as a mechanic for the majority of his life and was last employed as a mechanic at Fox River in Osage. Jason enjoyed watching TV, fishing, cheering for the Chicago Bears, and playing cards and games. Jason loved spending at much time as possible with his children and family. Jason is survived by his wife, Samantha Koskie of Nashua, IA; two sons, Tanner (Alicia Larson) Koskie of Charles City, IA, Alexander Koskie of Nashua, IA; three daughters, Jaden Koskie of Nashua, IA, Kelsie Koskie of Nashua, IA, Madison Koskie of Nashua, IA; one brother, John Koskie of Charles City, IA; sister, Julie (Rick) Hicok of Nashua, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Riley.

I miss you so much dad I wish you were still here to see what I can do as I grow up I still think about you and nana everyday it is hard for me to come to peace that you aren’t going to pop up and say gotcha like it was a big prank but I know that isn’t going to happen and it hurt to know the few things that I remember are slowing going away as I get older you made me the happiest little girl and told me anything is possible I just wish you could be here to see what I have accomplished so far
