Regards to your family on your loss. He was a grest library user and I enjoyed our conversations. He had his favorite authors and was always on top of new titles.
Joni, my condolences to you and the entire Carpenter family on the passing your father Herb. It has been quite some time since playing some “kick the can” & baling hay on the Carpenter farm, but I still remember them and the good times. I am pretty sure Herb cut me my first official “work” check for baling hay, $24 Big Ones!
Again, my sincere condolences to the entire Carpenter family.
