Granville Napier

Granville Benton 'Nape' Napier age 60 of Elma, Iowa died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the Riceville Family Care Center in Riceville.
Friends may greet the family 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Granville Benton Napier was born September 30, 1951, in Sommerset, KY, the son of William and Lessie (Inabnitt) Napier. He received his education in Elyria, OH. He served in the United States Army from 1969 until being honorably discharged on January 31, 1972. He moved to Iowa in 1975 and worked at New Hampton Auto Body for over twenty years. Granville then drove truck for several years until his health forced him to retire.
Survivors include one daughter, Monique Wilder of LeRoy, MN; one son, Kenneth (Krystina) Napier of North Washington; six grandchildren, Booker, Brody and Bayn Wilder, Hannah, Dakota and Benton Napier; three brothers, Richard Miller of Columbia Station, OH, Marty Miller of Elyria, OH and Bill Napier of Sandy, OR; two sisters, Heidi Napier of Ogden, UT and Blossom Walker of Elyria, OH;
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Wilda Kaiser and Wilma Napier.

I remember the fun times when we were two small boy’s in tree’s, rideing them to the ground on bending birch’s. Thanks for the laughs little brother.
