Glen Pietan age 63 of Elma, IA died Monday, June 2, 2025, from injuries sustained in a farming accident.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Maple Leaf in rural Elma with Rev. Craig Moss officiating. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Maple Leaf cemetery.

Friends may greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Elma. Visitation continues an hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.

Glen treated me like a son and I am grateful for having known him he was a true friend and father figure to me always treated me fair and helped me when ever I called and I did the same for him I will miss are conversations during hay season both of us always wining about rain coming. Hugs and prayers to Lisa and the rest of the family to get thru this difficult time

  14. I remember meeting Glen when we first moved to elma, he was a very kind soul. He welcomed my daughter at church every time she went with my friend to maple leaf. Shortly after I met Lisa, Emmitt, and Emily. My heart is broken for the whole pietan family. I hope you find peace and strength during this hard time. Our condolences to each and every one of you. Glen was a spectacular man.
