Glen Pietan age 63 of Elma, IA died Monday, June 2, 2025, from injuries sustained in a farming accident.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Maple Leaf in rural Elma with Rev. Craig Moss officiating. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Maple Leaf cemetery.
Friends may greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Elma. Visitation continues an hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.

Prayers for strength Pietan family. My friendship with Glen goes way back. He will be remembered for kindness and goodness.
Hearing this breaks my heart! Another great guy gone too soon!! Hugs and prayers Lisa, Ed,Liz, Emily and Emmitt! Hang on the wonderful memories!! You have the best Angel looking over you!! As someone told me, God needed him more than we do! I beg to differ, but it did console me!

Glen treated me like a son and I am grateful for having known him he was a true friend and father figure to me always treated me fair and helped me when ever I called and I did the same for him I will miss are conversations during hay season both of us always wining about rain coming.
