Frances Sulentic

Frances Sulentic of Waterloo, IA died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her daughters home in Nashua after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's
Per Frances request, there will be no formal services and her body will be donated to science at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Frances was born January 11, 1929 in Ambrose, ND, the daughter of Sander and Mable (Myers) Torgeson. After graduating from Ambrose High School she and her sister moved to California. There she met and married Kenneth Frederick. The couple later moved to his hometown of Waterloo, IA. After their divorce, she remarried some years later to Anthony Sulentic.
She worked in the service industry many years in fine dining at the Elks Club, Ramada Inn and finally retiring from GMAC in Waterloo.
Frances is survived by one son, Dave Frederick of Waterloo, IA; one daughter, Sandy (Leonard) Scribner of Nashua, IA; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tony in 1990; sister Lorene Torgeson; brothers, Dewayne and Richard Torgeson.
