  1. Leroy, Carol, Leon and Mary, Our deepest sympathy to you and your families, on the loss of your mother. So many fond memories of visits when we were young! We will miss keeping in touch at holidays, aiways enjoyed her letters. Sincerely, Lila and Chuck

  2. Leon & Linda – Our sympathy to you both, and all your family, on your mother’s death. Sad that we must exchange ‘greetings’ like these so close to one another! It’s sad to lose a parent, no matter the age. May your memories and God’s love give you comfort.

  3. I do not know any of Florence’s childen/families, but do know Helen Diesburg of Elma. Florence, her parents, brother Willard lived less than 2 miles from my parents (Albert/Rose Brummond), Florence was my country school teacher for 1 or 2 years!?? I am now 81, so that is a long time ago. She was a good teacher! Through the years I hardly ever saw her, but sometime in the last years she either sent my first husband and I a 50th anniv. card, ‘2002’ or sent a sympathy card at Reuben’s death in 2005. We were in contact only a couple times at the time. My deepest sympathy to all your families. I plan to make a donation in her memory to the Elma School Museum Fund. Perhaps the funeral home can send me one of your 4 children’s address. God bless her memory. Lois (Brummond) Friedrich-Flugge. (I married Albert Flugge in 2008 and he passed away 6/4/’09.

  4. I always enjoyed my time with your mom while she was in the New Hampton area. She was a very nice lady. I sure hope her years since leaving here have been good to her. Your entire family is in my prayers.

  6. Leroy, Leon, Mary, and Carol, Please accept our condolences in the passing of your mother Florence. I have fond memories of her when your folks lived on the farm. She always seemed so calm and gentle. And could she put on a meal. She was a great cook. We will not be able to attend Florence’s funeral but will keep her and all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
