Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I’m Elaine’s 1st cousin that lives in the Chicago area. Although, I am a Hawkeye since I was born in Cedar Falls. Elaine’s mother and my father were siblings. I haven’t seen Elaine since the 1990’s, but have fond memories of our several visits to Iowa in the early years. Fishing on the Cedar to hiking through the woods. Elaine, Billy and Bonnie were always gracious hosts. Losing Elaine and Billy in such a short time span is sad. My condolences go out to Bonnie, LeRoy, Jane and their families. May God comfort you during this time. ‘Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted’ Matthew 5:4

  2. We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Please accept our sincere sympathy. Paul and Connie Holstun

  3. Our prayers are with you all. I saw Elaine a couple years ago when cousin Mary Adams and I visited Bonnie and Bill for the first time. I have only met Bonnie but one day I hope I can meet you all. I was Lenora Sanborn’s daughter that she gave up for adoption. Blessings to you all…..

  4. I’m so sorry to hear about Elaine’s passing. I can’t imagine how difficult this is for everyone, so close to Bill’s passing, too. My grandma and Elaine spent a lot of years together on their farms. She was a good friend and will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the family.

  5. Leroy, Pat, Kerry Jo, Scott and all. I am sorry to hear of Grandma’s passing. I talked with Kerry today. Please know I am hear, just call. Grandma is home now. My prayers are with you. Love Angi & family.
