  11. I enjoyed Earlene’s presence at the reunions in recent years, but my strongest memory of her was when Brad had his first heart surgery. My dad was so concerned that we traveled from San Diego to visit in the hospital. I marveled at Earlene’s calm and strength at that time. She was gracious and loving even in the midst of a serious situation.

  12. I will always remember her as a soft spoken, kind and thoughtful person. For many years on my birthday I would receive a card and note from her. She always called me ‘Evy’ and she would wish me a happy birthday. I think she lived life to the fullest and truly loved spending time with all her family. She will be missed.
