Karen and family of Doc. We will miss all the visits with Doc and his big smile. Just take one day at a time and remember we are thinking of you.
Dear Karen & Family, Les and I are so sorry to hear of Dr. Shield’s death. He was such a special man and will be missed.
Dear Karen and family, My cousin, Diane Hammond, e-mailed me that Doc had passed away. I am so sorry to hear the news but also know that he has been in poor health for quite some tme. He is at peace and pain free. His death is not what you want, but there’s nothing you can do about it. Those words helped me so much when Bob died. I have such wonderful, fond memories of you and your family all the years you lived next door to Mother. You were wonderful neighbors and were so good to her. I remember her laughing when she looked out her kitchen window to see a ‘big bird’ (Doc) picking red raspberries for her berry patch for his cereal. I have so many other memories that I cherish too. In the coming days, may you find peace and comfort in loving memories, family, friends and faith. You have my deepest sympathies and love, Jean
I am sorry to learn of the loss of Richard. I know he will be dearly missed. It will be so nice when our ‘enemy death is brought to nothing’. (1 Corinthians 15:26) We can only imagine what it will be like when Richard is resurrected and is able to enjoy the love and company of his family and friends. (Acts 24:15) I hope that Jehovah the ‘God of all comfort’ will help you during this time of need. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
