The couple lived on a farm South of Boyd and for a brief time in New Hampton before moving to their current home in South rural New Hampton. Dorothy always had a large garden and loved cooking and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time and preparing food for her family.

She lived a long and full life. She always made me feel welcome in her home. She will be missed by so many.
I’m sorry for your loss and wish I could be there…please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I’ve uploaded a couple family pictures from the past. What I remember most about Dorothy was that she was always smiling and I’m sure that is from all the joy and happiness you brought to her.
To all the maily, So sorry to hear of your loss. It’s especially hard to lose a grandma.
Richard and I send our deepest sympathy and prayers for the family during this difficult time. This was quite a shock for both of us as I, Mary Jo, just saw her in New Hampton, last fall while visiting home. She will be greatly missed. All our best.
Ralph, Paul, Peggy, Nancy and families our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Words are inadequate when describing a mother’s value to her family but her love and memories will be your comfort. Let us know if you need anything.
