Donald F. Sheridan, age 63 of Lawler, Iowa died Friday, May 31, 2019, at Mercy One Hospital in Mason City. Arrangements are with Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the LT Tap in Little Turkey, Iowa. Donald Francis Sheridan was born June 16, 1955, in Lawler, Iowa, the oldest child of Francis and Florence (Myers) Sheridan. He received his education and graduated from Turkey Valley high school in 1973. He spent much of his life on the road, as an owner-operator of his own semi. Donald enjoyed watching old western films, checking the crops on his four-wheeler, and going to tractor auctions. Donald was taken from this earth much too soon and he reminds us to live each day to its fullest. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted brother, uncle, Godfather, and dear friend. Donald is survived by five siblings, Carol Sheridan of West Des Moines, IA, David (Nancy) Sheridan of Harpers Ferry, IA, Dale (MaryBeth) Sheridan of Peosta, IA, Dennis (Kim) Sheridan of Prescott, AZ, Dean Sheridan of West Des Moines, IA; five nephews and nieces, Travis (Jen) Sheridan of Eugene, OR, Vicki (Brian) Bredehoeft of West Des Moines, IA, Tony (Margie) Sheridan of Farley, IA, Bobbie Jo Sheridan of West Des Moines, IA, Bryce Sheridan of West Des Moines, IA; and two step-grandchildren, Quenten Schweer and Hailiegh Maser. Donald was preceded in his death by his parents, Frances (1986) and Florence (1976) Sheridan.
