Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Thoughts and prayers to the Seaman’s family. Sorry to hear of your loss. Thinking of you at this sad time.

  2. I was saddened to hear of Uncle Charlie’s passing and just heard last night. I would be with you and am in spirit. He was a dear uncle and the memories I had of his visits when we were little ones and he was home from the service are many. He always had to test my cookies and rolls, always finding a little something wrong so he could test another. Our deepest sympathy goes to all of you as we know you have lost a true loved one. With love, Dave and Marcy Machacek

  3. So sorry for your loss of Chuck Kathy. Last time I seen the two of you Chuck was so determined to give me some oranges you brought back from Florida. [ they were quite delicious]. Keeping you and family in my thoughts and prayers.

  4. I will always remember the many fishing trips we took with Chuck to Canada & the Mississippi. What always impressed me was his love of family. We were not related but he embraced & welcomed us as family. Last night I dug in my drawer & found the journal that we all kept on the trip of 1994. It stated that a traffic jam north of the cities sent Pa to the shoulder of the road. He then trimmed the grass again following Lawrnie through a weigh station (‘I thought it was the exit’). One of the days my daughter, Justina, dropped her fishing pole in the water. Chuck was in a different boat. During the confusion, he shouted that he thought he had a big catch. Imagine his surprise & ours, when he reeled in Justina’s fishing pole! This earned him ‘The Fishing Out A Fishing Pole Award.’ What great memories we have of him. We have laughed with him & prayed with him. Last year he was praying for us. I know he is in a better place now so we pray for his family, that the Lord will help them deal with their grief & loss. Leon & Barbara Sheets

  5. Chuck was always smiling along with Kathy every time we were with them. He definitely had the sweetest heart. My heart goes out to especially Kathy. Sweet lady, I know your strength and faith. I know we will see him again soon. Bless you! Love Penny & Wayne Tywater

  6. The few times I was around ‘Pa’ he was always so much fun to be around, and so kind. I especially think about the fun all of us had house boating on the Mississippi! And times around Lawrnie and Patty’s pond. He was, and is, a special guy. I know he will be missed by many – especially his family. But oh how wonderful it must be where he is now! My thoughts and prayers are with his family members – Kathy, Lawrnie, Mary and all. <3

  7. Square dancing growing g up with Mary and Judi were highlights of spending time with Chuck and Kathy ,also swimmimg parties were a treat. They always treated me like one of the family, hugs and prayers to all. Heartfelt wishes from Diana Hartson Bisping

  8. We will always remember Chuck for his strong Faith, his Love of doing farming, Love of his kids and Grandkids and visits with him. He will be missed. Hugh and Carol

  9. Kathy, Mary & Tim, Lawrnie & Patty and all your families. Our family is sending our biggest hugs and sympathy to you at this sad time. Chuck was always so easy to talk to and willing to share his knowledge of many things, including farming. It must be a joyous day in Heaven as he greets his loved ones. Treasure all the great memories you have. Love to you all. The Franzengang.
