My sympathies to Patrice & Rob, and families, at this time. Many memories of Carl coming to the house, after closing the hardware store, & playing “catch”, with my dad( in the street)…… providing lots of entertainment
for the elderly neighbors! He was a good friend of Dad’s.

Carl was a wonderful friend to my family and a great companion to my mother. They were able to travel many places together and spent many winters in Texas and Florida. They enjoyed attending Iowa and UNI football and basketball games and followed the teams throughout the season, traveling to bowl games and I-Club events together. Carl will truly be missed.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Carl was dearly thought of by our entire family. I hold many fond memories of Carl’s visits and stopping into the the hardware stores both in Nashua and Charles City.
Much Love.
