Beverly Ann Fisher, 75, of Nashua died Sunday morning, November 1, 2009 at her home in Nashua. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Nashua with Pastor Stephen Moore officiating. Mary Banser will sing “In The Garden”. Visitation will be at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Nashua from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the family. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City with Steve Fisher, Dennis Miller, Hal Miller, Larry Fisher, Kent Ackerson, Tim Fisher and Jon Fisher, Jr. serving as pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Stille, Paul Stille, Michael Stille, Joshua Koster, Shawn Koster, Kalen Fisher, Travis Fisher and (In Spirit) Daniel Tobin. Beverly Ann Fisher, was born October 5, 1934 in Zumbrota, Minnesota and moved to Nashua with her family. She attended Nashua High School. She was united in marriage to Gary L. Fisher on May 31, 1952 in Mason City, Iowa. Gary passed away September 5, 1991. Bev and Gary enjoyed their six children, fishing and spending all their time together. Beverly may be best remembered for her love and devotion to her husband Gary, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. She also loved her soap operas, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and was a tremendous Iowa Hawkeye fan. She would never miss a game. She is survived by her six children, Diana (Paul) Gadeke of Ft. Smith, AR, Debra (Jim) McNeilus, Dawn (Jeff) Aschoff all of Charles City, Rick (Renee) Fisher of Katy, TX, Rodney (Melissa)Fisher of Charles City and Dori (Larry) Eden of Shellsburg; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; two beloved grandchildren, Daniel Tobin and Danielle Bast; and her parents.

  2. Grandma Fisher, I love you and I will miss you!!! I wish I didn’t live so far away and that I could of seen you more. I know your with Grandpa now and your in a beautiful place with no pain. You were such a strong hearted woman through your long journey of fighting the cancer. I love you Grandma and I will see you again one day! I miss you!

  3. Deb, Jim, and family, We wanted to extend our condolences for your loss. Your mother’s valiant fight and suffering is over and she can now rest in eternal peace. Your support and vigilance over the past year was a comfort to her and meant so much. She can now enjoy all that paradise has to offer with her loving Savior. God bless you all as you forge your way in life without her presence, but always with the memories of her guidance and love.
