Bernice M. Cramer age 85 of New Hampton died Thursday evening, December 23, 2010, at the New Hampton Care Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in New Hampton, with Deacon Vic De Sloover officiating. Internment will be in New Hampton City Cemetery with Pat Folkers, Roger Nosbisch, Jim Akin, Paulette Nosbisch, Val Folkers, and Randy Nosbisch serving as pallbearers. Friends may greet the family from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in New Hampton. Bernice M. Cramer was born December 2, 1925 in the Jacksonville Township of Chickasaw County, the daughter of Elias and Anna (Landa) Weigel. She attended St. Joseph School in New Hampton. On November 22, 1952 in Preston, MN, Bernice was united in marriage to Francis “Stub” Cramer. The couple lived in Waterloo where Bernice worked 32 years for the Powers Manufacturing Company as a seamstress and instructor. She was a member of the AmVets in Evansdale. Survivors include many nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law; a step-daughter; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on December 27, 1985; and five brothers, Raymond, Claire, Donald, Bud, and Paul Weigel in infancy.
